This allows the route planner to give a better estimate of the duration of a route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where can I set my own cruising speed?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You can enter your boat&#8217;s cruising speed at two points in the app:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the \u2018My Boat\u2019 section on your profile page<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>While planning a route<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In the \u2018My Boat\u2019 section you can enter your own boat&#8217;s cruising speed. If you do so, every time you plan a new route, the app will do so at the cruising speed you\u2019ve specified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also change your cruising speed before and after you plan a route, <em>before<\/em> starting the route.
