In the Waterkaarten app, it is possible to set your home location. Convenient, because this way, when planning a route, you can immediately set your home location as the start or end point of a route. It can be a marina (or any other kind of POI) or a place on the map that you can set yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When in the Waterkaarten app and after tapping the search bar, tap the \u201cplan a route\u201d button, you can enter your Starting Point and Destination. By default, your current location is set as your starting point. If you tap the text \u201cCurrent location\u201d, you can then tap \u201cHome location\u201d to choose it as your starting point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can then search for a port (or other POI) in the search bar and set it as your home location. You can also tap the \u201cSearch on map\u201d option to set a place on the map.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The next time you plan a route, you can tap \u201cCurrent location\u201d in the \u201cStarting point” bar and immediately set your home location as the starting point. The same works for the bar where you can enter your destination. Useful if you want to plan a route back to your home location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
